Amazing Amazon Deals Going On

Don’t have a new Kindle Paperwhite yet? How does a new ereader under $100 sound? I think it sounds fabulous and you have to check it out!

Not sure about the Paperwhite? You can read my Kindle Paperwhite Review. Or you can glance over the other Kindle options if you want.

In any case, the new Paperwhite is $30 off right now so you better rush over to buy yourself and anybody else one, for that matter. Maybe get a spare? Just a screaming deal. It only lasts until 4 p.m. on February 13, 2019, though. Better hurry.

Luckily, if you’re a Prime member, you can get free 2-day shipping to make sure it arrives in time to surprise your love muffin. If you aren’t a Prime member, sign up for a 30-day free trial to get that free 2-day shipping. Just be sure to cancel before your subscription renewal! There’s extremely cheap Amazon Prime membership for EBT card holders, too.

Want some cheap tablets to give your teens for Valentine’s Day? Amazon is running a special on a 3 pack of Fire 7 Tablets until February 14, 2019, at 4 p.m. Admittedly, I wasn’t impressed by the Fire 7 in my review, but your preference might be different or you just want it for the kids, you might also like the 2-pack of kids Fire 7 tablets special running right now. The other Fire Tablets are also running a 3-pack deal, so be sure to check them out.

There’s also an Amazon Echo special and a Fire TV Stick special going on. For those people who just don’t get the beautiful world’s to discover in books.

Barnes and Noble Valentine’s Sale

Use the promo code FEBLOVE to get 10% off your Valentine’s Day order. Check out the selection on the BN website. Happy shopping! Barnes and Noble always has cute as hell items. The added bonus of shopping with Barnes and Noble is in-store pickup in some cases.

My advice to any of you located near a local BN store is to go shopping inside for your significant other (or yourself, no judgment). I love BN physical stores and always find things I don’t need but absolutely HAVE to have. Like all the gorgeous bookmarks I have, yet never use. Freaking LOVE bookmarks and most reading addicted people I know do too!

Another pretty cool idea is to visit the locally owned bookstores around your city. They stock up on a lot of nifty book related items. I love book tote bags, bookmarks, stationary and journals, coffee cups, calendars, and probably a ton of other things I haven’t thought of.

Local bookstores also carry some unique book finds too! Impress your new book-loving significant other by checking them out. Plus you’ll be supporting your community businesses. Always a good thing in this new digital age.

I’m still keeping my eyes peeled for more V-Day bargains related to digital reading devices. Please let me know if you found one I missed by commenting below. Or simply ask a question. I read and answer every single one!

    1. You won’t be disappointed. I was very pleased with the new Paperwhite when I traded in my old one this Christmas. It’s amazing the advances they made in two years. Plus waterproof means SAFE bath reading now.

Thanks for your lovely compliment and enjoy your new Kindle. 🙂

  3. Hi Selenity,

You have found some great gift ideas here, and let us know just in time for the big day.I have to admit i am a Barnes and Noble fan also. i saw my first adult coloring books there, i never knew! ok, so in your Kindle Paperwhite Review, you said you actually traded your old device in to get the paperwhite. Now, what I want to know, is that screen that visible in sunlight? I know everything i have is washed out in direct sunlight. If that is that readable, I am sold and I will be jumping on the Amazon sale! Thank you selenity for the great product review. I enjoyed it.

    1. Yes! With the glare-free screen you can read outside on the sunniest days with no problem! That’s one of the biggest advantages of e-readers over tablets for reading. So take a blanket outside, lay out in the sun, and enjoy. Just avoid the hot days of summer because your device will get hot. 🙂

  4. Selenity,
This light looks great. I’m a die-hard reader of just about anything I can get my hands on and the trade-in deal is a great reminder for people who have older Kindles. Thanks for that reminder since I’ve been thinking about it.

    1. You’re welcome. I stumbled across the deal actually researching for a site post. I splurged and did it. All told, saved $52 trading in my old one. Awesome.

I’ll tell you the only reason I did it was the new Audible capability and waterproofing. If it was only slimmer and had a better screen, I wouldn’t have as I ADORED my old device and I hate change. Bonus, more storage. It also seems faster now that I’m using it more. So I definitely glad I did it.

      Thanks so much for reading!

  5. That’s one awesome deal for the Kindle paperwhite. They’ve garnered great reviews all over Amazon and a few of my friends swear by them. I’m a big fan of going into the B&N shop every time I’m up in the Robinson Shopping Center near Pittsburgh.

B&N always has something amazing on sale and it’s one of the few places I’ll impulse buy. Either that or I’ll find a book that interests me, hide in a corner somewhere, and read away. I’m fortunate to have a B&N near me and can retreat there when everyone else is scrambling around the mall doing their shopping.

    1. Thank you for your comment! While since I have gone digital nearly 100% now and love my Kindles, BN definitely has awesome physical bookstores.

I’m unfortunately not as big of a fan of their digital products. But nothing beats going to an actual bookstore. 🙂
